Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Yesterday's new egg picture (I usually have to leave my computer to render these for a few hours into the night). Instead of placing all the elements on a plane, as I usually do, and spending a few hours not finding the right texture or colour for a plane to go with these, I came up with a new idea that I think adds a lot of dynamics to the picture as well (especially the 3D version), placing the different objects on wooden pillars of varying heights.
Born in Norway in 1974, and discovering I knew how to paint in 1999, my work spans a wide variety of styles and media, all the way from traditional oils, pencil drawings and encaustics to digital paintings, 3D renderings and computer generated imagery, with styles ranging from the completely abstract to the sensually figurative.
